I just set up my studio in a new corner of the house, and I have been going through all of the old f'd up scraps of wood, molded packaging inserts, plastic car parts, etc, that I have been squirreling away for years... "Oooh, yeah, I'm gonna paint something on that..."

Re: monster drawings Thank you Mike! This is for a project here in town called Go Bike. It's a solid cast aluminum bike rack topper, and I'm one of 30 artists doing one. For mine I chose a "holy icon" kind of theme, with one side being the "evil monster" and the other the "guardian angel" (not quite done with that side). I gold leafed it for added "holiness"   This shot here is the truer color; the previous one I took at night.
