I'm actually not familiar with the sculpt but am assuming it's western. The paint job looks vibrant but it's definitely not "kaiju"

So did the fried calamari I had for lunch make my cafeteria a Kaiju styled lunch? I like fried calamari, but that doesn't make it kaiju...

It doesn't? I thought that's what we were all talking about when we said we collect Kaiju.

Reminds me of the AAH Real Monsters!
What's up with the western style customs coming up on the board lately? It's not that they're not good, but I'm sure they'd be more appreciated somewhere else...

I knew somehow that it was someone in LASK who dropped the ball and let this happen. I bet you're the one that allowed KR bags at your trade fest.

it definitely wasnt me. two things not allowed in my house: 1. meat & 2. KR bags.
i once kicked a supposed hardcore kid out of my apt for admitting that he had never heard the cro mags. i made him stand outside and i played Age of Quarrel out of my bedroom window for him to listen to before i let him back inside.

Nobody is saying any of that. To the contrary, there is much appreciation for the guys skill in this thread. Nobody is telling him to throw his work out either. It's more akin to a boy-band opening at a Slayer gig. Put your art in the correct context or expect the natives to get restless at the very least...

ouaaahhh! Are they some blow of brushes on plastic which caused
this debate?
I understood well that to show you this custom was a very
bad idea. Too much late the evil is done. I would pay more attention
to being in the topic of the forum .
The tone is given!

lol......i'm Kirkland!! It actually means land of the dead!! (or land of Church or graveyard)
I dig customs and this one is pretty wicked. I guess I care less if they are western or japanese as long as the work is cool.
it would be interesting for Tan-ki to do his thing on a KT Solid figure. I would be interested in that for sure.....
btw, i'm nice because when i'm not on the board, i'm an asshole. pretty much the exact opposite of HMS.

I think the artwork is great! I wouldn't consider it Kaiju Style though.
