Great job Alex, keep up the good work! I agree with wolfchild though, I think the bones should be more scattered around.

I can totally see some mad scientist developing a mecha Rose Vampire or Big Sal for that matter.

Big Sal has metal on him, he is in a straight jacket...

This is all opinion nobody is right or wrong. Some of you may hate/dislike customs I dislike Nags and Bemons. But do you really care what I like or dislike?

:D

as far as custom haters go you should turn your brains on for one second, painting kaiju is not a job like gas station cashier were some jerk trains you out of a book for 2 days and says there you go because a monkey can do this job you should be fine, no working as a kaiju sprayer would probably come from years of painting military models, pewter miniatures and what do you know sofubi, so if it were not for artists who spread there wings and learned to fly on there own in a dangerous sky you would not have competent painters doing the producion pieces you so covet and the paint apps would suck and you would not collect them, and another thing why do people who are notorious custom hates troll through the customs threads??? end rant and thank you for your time

Post Re: Custom Big Sal
I want my time back.

Everyone always asks why people who do not like customs go to the forum/threads for customs. Do you really want ONLY people who like customs to look at your customs? That strikes me as a very inbred way to show off your 'art.' Seems like a dialogue with non-fans would be more productive than unconditional praise from sycophants.

I think your customs are quite well done, DrilOne, relative to a lot of the other stuff that I see. I kind of agree with the metal-on-nonmetal-objects complaint, but I love weathered and military-style paints so it's hard for me to be completely logical on that point. Yeah, that Mecha G is pretty damn cool.

no the problem is people who do not like customs almost always come in looking to rip shit up or be negative, I am fine with any open minded individual checking things out, but a bunch of zombies that are cool with it (or keep there mouth shut)if the person responsible is an established artist but damn it if it is some no namer getting a start at it or someone that just does it for fun and enjoys there hobby is not something I find agreeable

This is the reason I post customs on skullbrain...well put, akum6n.

This is not the problem at all...these are the people that give it to you straight and tell you what, in their opinion, you did wrong and where you could do better.

In my opinion, skullbrain is the greatest forum to get real feedback on custom toys from very discerning collectors. Sometimes, that means people, "rip shit up."
