What paint did you use and what airbrush is it ??

I used ink, Tamiya, and Createx. I don't remember who made the brush - I bought it as a package with a compressor. Pretty cheap, but I was hoping it would do what I needed it to do. It is a dual action.
I think I might file the tip of the needle to make sure it's not bent. Ya see, when I first got it I took it apart to see how it all worked. But putting it back together was a I FART A LOT! But it worked fine the first couple times I used it. I think I just didn't clean it out well enough. And talking to someone else it sounds like I may not have thinned my paint enough - so maybe that's what's been causing it to spit.
Anyway, I figure I'll bombard it with thinner and see if that helps...and then thin my paints more!

What the hell where you doing !!! :)

Pick a medium and when your done clean and use the next :)

jeesh

Well if you used tamiya paint use tamiya thinner. Take the ENTIRE airbrush apart and let it soak overnight. then with a cotton swap stick try to force the excess paint out of the shaft and other tubes.

DONT rush it it will take time but you should get it clean.

Just make sure you use the thinner that goes with the paint.

I think the tamiya thinner will work on all the liquids you used

Good Lord, man... after all that, just bury that poor little airbrush in a box in your back yard...

Hey, i didn't use those three mediums at the same time! They were all on separate occasions, and I cleaned it out after each use. I think I just didn't clean well enough after the Createx that I probably didn't use enough thinner with.

lol the way you made it sound...... :)

Its definitly hard to help not really knowing anything about the airbrush. brand, model etc...

But most come apart.

Just do like I do when I get lazy and dont clean out my AB good.

Put on some music and spend some time cleaning it out like your a marine cleaning out his weapon.

Its therapeutic :)
