Re: mailed art
Alot of great stuff in this thread. I still draw on boxes I send out hoping one day to make it into this thread, what I consider to be the "Who's Who" of package art.

Re: mailed art
Some people on this board are so cool! Ultra999 - Bill picked up a GID Shuttlegon and the Green Rub Evil Bat for me at TK II. Then he drew this awesome Shuttlegon pic on the outside of my shipping box. I would just like to say that after what seemed like weeks of my pleading for someone to help me pick up an item at the TK II event it was a relative newcomer, someone that I had barely heard of, that came forward and offered to help me with no strings attached. Come to find out there wasn't even anything that he personally had to have from the show but he still went early and stood in line to get ticket #8 then returned later and stood in another line just to pick up the items I wanted. Then to top it off he thanked ME for getting him to hang out all day because he got to meet a lot of cool Skullbrainer's and experience getting all hyped up before the show started. He even ended up picking up some drawings for himself. Glad you had such a good time Bill and I would like to publicly thank you for being such a stand-up guy and a pretty damn good artist to boot.

That's pretty awesome of him. I hope he becomes a regular. And Wow. That's a sick ass drawing. I would pay for something like that.

Re: mailed art
Seriously, this thread rules.
I think I've only ever gotten a couple boxes with doodles on them.
If I have time, I think I'll draw some on the boxes I send out later this week.
Grzlli -- That Nezubirdon is awesome beyond words. I love it.

Re: mailed art
Thanks Anton, Joe and Bill. Sad thing is the only time i get motivated enough to draw is when im sending a package. Did a series of board member's names for a recent series of outgoing packages. The Matango was a spare photocopy from part of a drawing i did for a skullbrain swap thread. Rhinomilk eneded up with the original. My M1 dedication. Cool drawing Bill. Really nicely executed.

Re: mailed art
here's ham's piece that inspired me: i never thought to use a silver sharpie like that, and seeing my forum name all sparkly was good for the ego while i like the b&w version better, that m1 dedication definitely needs to be turned into a print. letterpressed would be nice. and here's a slightly better shot of the one sent to connell: honestly, i thought he'd be more excited about the madballs sticker than the drawing!

Re: mailed art
I've drawn on most of the boxes I've sent out, but don't think any have made it up here I may start taking pics before they depart, like some of you guys have done. Now I just wanna start a new sale so I can start drawing on more boxes without just throwing them away Sick Shuttlegon & Matango on the past page, for sure.

thank you for the kind words, but I actually hate that drawling. I was thinking I covered it up with the mailing label. Oh well, I'm just glad the figure made it safe and sound!! Deadbone wrote: Super cool mail art from LivingDead + the box's contents. Thanks mate!

Joe H and/or Keith B...do either of you have pics of the art I drew on the side of your boxes? I forgot to take pictures for myself before I mailed them.

Killer! Like that little pop-up Jason. Looks like somethin that'd be painted on the side of a bootleg Splatterhouse cabinet. Looking forward to it.
