Holy Fucking Shit - The Custom Hater is Posting HERE
If you have extra arms and parts from the Secret Base GID set, along with a clear orange Hukkokudo Zagora laying around, use the parts to create a DIY skeletal innards for the Zagora.
The GID arms fit perfectly for the arms and legs. I have a bagman skull in the belly facing out, along with mashed up bags to keep everything in place.
Obviously heat up the Zagora parts with a hairdryer before wrestling them apart.
Along with heating up bigger parts before stuffing them in the belly of the Zagora.
The GID parts won't light up (as far as I tested) but it gives the otherwise tame orange clear a much more interesting depth and detail.
We now return you to Martha Stewart Living, already in progress...

be careful Peter, it begins with swapping parts. Before you know it, you'll be sitting there with an airbrush thinning out V-Color...
customization is a slippery slope....

it might not light up regularly, but maybe blacklighting it would give an interesting effect.
what a cool idea....i'd love to see this as well.

Oh, so you'll be mad to find that I switched all of the arms on every figure you have.
and I dipped them all in pink paint.
sorry.

that's impossible. I'm home with the toys right now and they're fine.
also, I'd kill you, but let's not talk about that in a public forum, okay?

Crappy photos (I suck at photography) but you get the idea. It's kind of subtle.
Oh, and Kirkland, this is technically a mashup not a custom and only tolerable in my mind as the clear orange is kinda lacking and I'm recycling extra GID parts.
But wait, what if I rubbed the balzac skull with some black paint to bring out some definition?
Nope, not going to go down that road.

Looking cool. Is this your first pic posted btw? Not that it matters, but I just thought of it.
Anyway, think people with spare parts are gonna start trying to sell them now for this type of fun? I say if ya got an HMV Zag pop out the logo and smash these in too. Maybe I'll hunt some parts down for my clear orange Goga.

Yeah it's not easy to get the GID to glow through colored vinyl. I want to get a set and bore out some extra holes in the torso and have a 4 armed monster.

I think it would be great if you took some photos of your toys, modified them in photoshop to look nothing like the original and then post them one at a time per thread...
