Since the Custom Chaos and Secret Base Trades went so well, I'd like to organize one for Gargamel Mini figures.

Most of the SOLID Label Gargamel Mini figures are still available from Kaiju Taro.
Super7 also has Unpainted Blue Gargamel Mini figures available to use.

How to sign up:
1. Please add your name to the list.
2. Send me a PM with the following information:
- Name
- Address
- What figure you're planning to paint.

Sign-ups will start 8/29 (Friday) and last a week until 9/5 (next Friday).
Be prepared to have your custom finished and ready to be sent by 10/12 (Sunday).*
This will give everyone over a month to get everything done.
*Deadline might be changed if the majority of participants feel they need more time.
Otherwise, please do not sign up if you feel that you can't make the deadline set forth.

What to do when you're done with your custom:
- Please send me a PM stating you are finished.
- Include in the PM a picture of your custom.
- Be ready to ship your custom to me.*
*I will receive all the customs to photograph and redistribute out randomly for the trade.
Please also include $5 with your custom to cover shipping.

I'm in, but there are just two things:

1. I don't mind the deadline, but I definitely think a month is going to seem a little tight for some folks and might discourage some people. Especially if they don't have a figure in-hand to paint. The last two swaps had close to two months I believe and it was still down to the wire with some folks.

That being said, I'm actually all for a one month turnaround because I can't wait to see the results of the swaps. =)

2. I'm not sure what I'll be painting yet. I've got a mini here (I believe) but I don't know what I'm going to do with it. I can tell you I'm in, but not what I'll be painting just yet.

I've created a poll for people interested in participating in regards to if customs have to be painted with an airbrush or if brush and paint is fine.

I'm the reason the poll came up, so if everyone is cool with acrylic I'll be in.

Let's stick with Minis to make it more fair for everyone.

i dont mid handpainted stuff but please lets hand paint with VCOLOR and not chunky acrylics

Just for that statemant I'll use Tamiya acrylics and a paintbrush...then make sure it is extra chunky

I only have acrylics, but I swear I won't make it chunky. If I do I won't submit my piece.

as long as I can get ahold of a Garg mini I plan to do somethin out of the norm as well on this so Im all for anything goes

Do you know how hard it is to paint with V-color ?

And I will be in this one but may need more time.

gimme a break guys - i was merely suggesting that we use appropriate paints and not some chunky craft paints from an art store if one were to go the hand painted route - for fuck's sake already huh!!?
