 New Toys! #3: Gonakedet
GONAKEDET - Many years ago, Gonakedet was a fisherman. In his fishing town, the stories of a lizard like sea creature that ate lost fishing boats, was a common tale. This creature was said to posses the power to control the sea. One day while out to sea alone in his boat, Gonakedet was attacked by this sea creature and in a fierce battle managed to take its life. Convinced that this creature possessed this great power to control the sea, he gutted it and wore its skin as an outfit. Over time, the skin of the creature and his flesh bonded leaving him stuck as the creature for ever.

This is your best yet, in my opinion...the gills and scales are very nicely done. Great job! (now paint those bad boys up!)

I like this one. Nice sculpt and compliments the wolfboy well. I'd like to sea some casts in different colors of those two. When's that happen?

 Re: New Toys! #3: Gonakedet
I think I'd rather see the non-scaled parts of him painted and the scales left unpainted. Especially the face I think.
Send me one- I'll paint it. =)

Awesome sculpt. Love the Clear Green resin. Don't like the paint job, looks very Booskaish.

 Re: New Toys! #3: Gonakedet
If I'm not mistaken, the paint is done as sample sections to give an idea of different paints, techniques, and color apps. I could be wrong but thats what I got out of it.

I think leave it unpainted...or maybe just eyes/mouth. Definitely 86 the big yellow spot on it's belly. I do like the green though, Makes me think of Mt. Dew soda.

 Re: New Toys! #3: Gonakedet
i think a nice rub to bring out the scales would look good for the body app.

 Re: New Toys! #3: Gonakedet
maby a silver rub on the scales, or a metallic green spray on the scales and unpainted body

hey ya this was a test piece from the fucked up mold. the good mold is done now and i will be working on them today. the paint job was just an idea to see what people think I have yet to get my airbrush, i am getting it around halloween so i attemped this paint job with spraypaint. im going to try the rub see how that looks and if im not happy it will stay blank with a painted face! thanks for the input these will be on sale tomorrow!

 Re: New Toys! #3: Gonakedet
oooh, nice clear! Looks great with the texture of the scales. The circles aren't doing it for me, but I do like the pink spray on the arms. Clear is hard to clean up, and it seems like you pulled it off nicely, messed up mold or not.

 Re: New Toys! #3: Gonakedet
Great!!! I'm digging the top two, especially the clear green. Grey one, not so much. Grey guy needs some color imho.
