Re: Re-work, so re-shoot. Just one thing after another some days
You know, I've been checking out all of your bandai customs, and I don't think that I've commented yet, so here goes: I think your stuff is really different and surprising, everytime I see them I think- oh, he put a posterize filter on that picture of his Kaiju- and then I take a second to realize the lines are physically on there. I think of some of them it works, on other not as much. I'm not a huge fan of this 5 year anniversary KAiju, but I really like these two:

I don't know why, but on the above two, the line work seems to make more sense. They look like if hand drawn comic books came to life, but still looked hand-drawn. I don't know what the process is for deciding what and how the line work will end up, whether its planned to more stream of consciousness/random or whatever, but maybe you could do something like incorporating specific designs/images/shapes even words into the line work? Or confine the linework to certain areas and leave other sections alone in a way to draw the eye to certain sections intentionally? like on this picture:

My eye picked out the Dokuro Rocks right eye almost immediately, because of the spiral, and it seems less random then the other linework. Or maybe a piece where the linework is one unbroken line? I don't know. I'm just throwing out ideas that may or my not jibe with you, they are what comes to my head.
So all and all I think its cool and hope to continue to refine it (your work) and look forward to the day you work on a secret base fight figure. I'm sure that'll be very interesting.
take care,
Phil
btw- as it stands, I think both those flower Kaiju are the coolest looking ones you've done.
