I got to audit a couple of airbrush classes (sit in the back and watch) and the old hippy had a surfboard manual laminated in single pages in a binder that had doz's and doz's of similar masking techniques (like nets and types of mesh even palm fronds). Anyhow it was sorta yellow w/ age and I was told from the 50's?? I hadn't though of fishing lure dudes.

 Re: customs frank mysterio
People have been spraying paint through lace for years - I always associated it with badass lowriders.
Regardless, PK's customs have a lot more going on than just the mesh-masked sprays. PK's work really strikes me for its originality and overall quality. That, and he consistently manages to blow me away with his color choices and attention to detail.

That's usually how everyone starts is by emulating an artist they admire. Great start by the way and soon you will be calling out dudes who infringe on your techniques
