I have a friend who lives in Anaheim, and she recently served on a jury that decided the fate of a woman who assaulted a man dressed as Pluto at Disneyland.
Apparently, the woman brought her child to Disneyland, and waited in line so her child could talk to Pluto, but Pluto's shift ended before her child was able to talk to him and he walked away.
The next day, they saw Pluto again, and the mother asked if he was the same Pluto as yesterday... Disneyland policy is that there is only one of any of the characters that walk around the park, so the person inside the suit shook his head that he was the same Pluto... so she kicked him in the leg because she was pissed off.
The character actor decided to press charges, and the woman was brought to trial for assault. After she was found guilty, she threatened to kill the police officers who were leading her away, so she got slapped with an additional charge of threatening a police officer...
Why can't I be on a jury that does crazy shit like this?
