Nanite's Customs
Two white blanks from the RxH USA drop, and a beige blank from the Onell drop. I'm satisfied with them. Officer Mutant was in the Lot-F 'In Living Kolor' show, the other two are new. All airbrushed with Monster Kolor. GITD Ojisan: Less happy with how this one turned out. I tried to ape D-Lux's awesome rubs, failed, and then went for a Sid and Marty Krofft-ish color palette. Thanks goes to gatchabert for selling me the blank. Hopefully he still would have, if he knew what I was going to do with it. More pictures over on the Monster Kolor boards: http://monsterkolor.ning.com/photo/phot ... l7y38xfxogThanks for looking.

Re: Attention seeking - Seth's Customs
I dig that grody. Looks like the stuff I've been coughing up the past couple of days.

Re: Attention seeking - Seth's Customs
I've got a big hint for your rub issues. You don't always have to use MonsterKolor, to finish off your toy. That said, I sort of like the way it turned out.

Re: Attention seeking - Seth's Customs
I don't mind the fuzziness of the rub at all. I think it goes well with the rest of the paint app. It's really a great custom.

I like that beetle. Definitely has a beetle-vibe going on with the shiny black. I actually hope they release a colorway similar to this!

Re: Nanite x Max Toy Collab
Thanks all, it means a lot! This weekend's workbench, after the first clearcoat pass. I got a fit of inspiration, and started in on my Elegab unpaints. Also a Dokuduo, an OMFG set, a glyos fig, and a bunch of gaming miniatures. I also finished these glyos crayboth off last week, but I don't like posting non-sofubi here. Really proud of them though:

Resin's just fine and DAMN nice work! I'd check in regularly on a live feed video of your work bench, REALLY

boo velvet wrote: Resin's just fine and DAMN nice work! I'd check in regularly on a live feed video of your work bench, REALLY I'm flattered. Apart from cats chasing bugs, it would be pretty boring. Some more updates: Gold Glitter Max Toy Dualos. It needs more work, but I'm not sure where to take it. Also not happy with the rub, but if I do more, I think it will start to look worse. Elegab Torionga turned into a mess though. It was way to flat and 2-D looking, even after the glosscoat , so I did an inkwash, and it just wrecked it. I can get the ink off though, but again, I'm at a loss on where to take it. I'm thinking a light translucent white, or pale yellow coat? I don't know, there's half a good figure there.

Re: Nanite's Customs (DokuDuo)
Very smart design, Nanite. And the execution looks great!

Thanks! I did email Nari-san, but between my lack of Japanese, and Google translate, who knows what I said?
