Re: Sabertooth TiGORE (head sculpt)
I already have a rough sculpture of the whole figure I'm just trying to make everything look right...with proportions and all. He's going to have a gladiator feel to him with a Trident for an arm, armor and battle damage. After I'm done it should stand around 10" or taller.

Re: Sabertooth TiGORE (head sculpt)
Thanks guys, I'm very very excited to finish this guy up. I've been working on him for a while but finally have more time to sculpt. After all is said and done I plan on submitting this project to kick starter.

Re: Sabertooth TiGORE (head sculpt)
That is one tough looking cat. Great sculpting. The subtle fur texture around the eyes is great and that snarling face is full of character. Maybe just add some depth to the nostrils... Look forward to seeing more of this guy- looking amazing so far.

Re: Sabertooth TiGORE (head sculpt)
The sculpting on this is really on point. I love the subtle fur texture too. And the more heavy fur past the face is really well done too. I dig how the skull patch is sticking off of the face instead of like sculpted in it. love the texture on the nose alot, but I'm not sure about the pitting under the nose and on the skull and string. also..the lightning bolts rule hard!

Re: Sabertooth TiGORE (head sculpt)
Thanks for the input, I wasn't completely sure on what I was going to do with the skull straps that's why they fade off into the hair, but your right they definitely need to be re textured. As for the nose it will be detailed as well.

Re: Sabertooth TiGORE (head sculpt)
Is this going to be resin? I've been loving resin toys so much lately. Even if it's planned for vinyl I'm loving it. Love the details, the patch especially. And the 'ears'.

Re: Sabertooth TiGORE (head sculpt)
Dude this is the first sculpt I've seen by someone not already making toys, that looks like it belongs in sofubi. This shit is great, it reminds me of those toys from the 80's that were animals, and they had holograms of the elements on their chest. I can't wait to see what his body looks like.
