Post Sofvi color
Are there any sources for buying this stuff? Saw its possibly good for brushing and wouldn't mind having a paint specific for brushing if it might be better than v-color for it. Or atlear more affordable? I don't know. I'm getting some V-Color soon but would like to know my options either way (unthinned. dont have a lot of interest in the pre-thinned paint just yet)

Any info, please tell!

Sofvi color is made by the same company. My experience was that it was the same just in a bigger bottle. I wasn't paying much attention to how it was thinned.
V-Color can be brushed just fine if you get the right concentration of retarder and thinner. I usually just put it in a little mixing tray or old lid from a jar. Once it thickens up a bit, you just add a drop of retarder and thinner and it's good again.

I'm pretty sure Gunnzo in San Diego is/will be carrying it soon to go along with V-Color.

Not online yet but I was there a week ago and Chika had it on hand. You may want to call and talk to her.

Thanks for the replies and info guys! I'll just have to try them both out!

I'm gonna give them a call for sure! I was wondering if they might get it in..

EDIT:

So I gave them a call but no luck. Sent an email and Chika said they will not be carrying Sofvi color... But at D-Con they plan on bringing in "10 new colors and thinner under our own brand at Designer Con. They are 30ml so a little larger container than V-Color. " So that's exciting.

Still wish I could've gotten some Sofvi color and had to do less micro managing...when mixing paints, though I don't know if this applies to V-Color I've learned the smaller the amount I mixed, the shorter the time needed for it to dry out. Atleast with acrylic..I have so many jars (lined with plastic wrap at the mouth, to prolong its life) of mixed paint...
