LASH - me prefers the original version in terms of the pink etc. I think it's because it looks more sinister to me, and I damn well love sinister. Good job but either way.

+1. the pink made him look more evil. The second is nicer in terms of subtleness, fade, blend but this is toys we're talking about. If you wanted to tone the pink down, a splash of gold in the center would've worked too. Still a killer piece no matter what.

Well this was a study for me. I've been wanting to learn how to do paint jobs like some of the older kaiju had. And the last few pieces I've been doing have been for this study. I'm very happy with what I'm learning and there is so much that can be learned.

This re-do was exactly waht I was shooting for. I turned out exactly what my minds eye saw. The first version was great but nothing at all what I wanted.

Now I'm happy and satisfied.

Dont worry guys there is always time for more sinister toys. But sometimes you have to try other things to learn how to improve your technique.

I have some great paint schemes planned out but ust need vinyl. I have a few comissions I'm doing right now. If you like sinister you will get it soon

My set up has improved everything for me 100000 %

NO more sinus headaches !

Its all set up like a science lab. My studio area is located near bilco doors so on a nice day noy only is the booth vented out but the open doors bring in a lot of fresh air and light.

Also got a new airbrush which I'm still getting used to. But its so much better.

I'm a little in debt right now but what ever, its worth it. The art I'm doing makes me happy

So its pretty 50/50. Its Either love it or like it but love the other way better it seems.

Its like I scored twice. 2 different paints and both got good replies

Subtle change but a huge difference! Mucho prefer the new one!

My first reaction was I like the first one better but I think that's because it was the my first love of the two.The more times I view the new version the more I think I like it better.I also did a test and showed both to some friends at the same time and all said they prefer the newer one.

Wasn't feeling the first version at all. The second version is killer!
