it's not a custom kaiju spray or my own toy design but here is something I did yesterday for a friend's birthday. i used the original Groovisions doll as a base and painted over it. The reason i used b/w illustration is because my friend is an illustrator (b/w is her style) and she loves pandas (her icon she uses) + music. The arms on the boombox is from a Silas figure. The great thing with the original doll is that you can twist the head and the feet so that it faces the other side and becomes its' alter ego. She always has this Garfield eyes and cute stubby feet.

i think i will continue to do this for my other friends but have to find the right objects that relate to them first (not necessarily toys). besides getting my grubby hands on the ink etc. i hope you like it as much as I had fun making it!
