The Location: Supreme, Fairfax Avenue, LA.
The Event: The night before the new Supreme Nike SB Blazer is released

Intrepid LA reporter Chompers and friend lines up with the kids overnight in a selfless attempt to bring a taste of LA culture to the wild vinyl kids on Skullbrain (plus he wants to score a pair of those pimpin' kicks):

This is the goal: gain entry to the temple of cool that is .... Supreme:


This is the scene: LA sneakerheads are camped out the length of Fairfax. All across the world similar events are unfolding as the exact same kids camp out in New York and Tokyo. But Chompers is only in LA.


Chompers and pal pumpkin guts join the end of the line....its gonna be a long night says Chompers silently to himself. Pumpkin Guts just shivers silently, not knowing what the night may hold in the 'hood known only as "the Fairfax district"


Suddenly Chompers gets excited: "Check it out Pumpkin Guts, someone in the line is actually skating!!!!"


Later that night, a weird punter tries to put the moves on Chompers, but Chompers only has eyes for pumpkin guts.


8 hours later and weird punter has changed clothes, gained tattoos and has fallen asleep. Weird. Chompers has been staring at Pumpkin Guts all night. Also weird. Pumpkin Guts just wants to be friends with Chompers. Not weird.


Will Chompers score the Blazers? Will Pumpkin Guts dive gutterward in an attempt to escape the madness? Will more creepy punters crawl out of the woodwork? Tune in next time for the stunning conclusion to this story of the urban struggle ...... for sneakers ...zzzzzzz.........

Chompers has a bit of a mancrush on Blob, probably because he has a lot of indie cred on Skullbrain and is clear orange....but Chompers also likes to hang with Waldar Skullbrain (more on that later)...drive cars (more on that later) and hang out in parking lots (more on that later)....

Y'know its hard for a toy, especially on this board, as all the toys we like are male toys..I mean who refers to any of their stuff as she? So, its not like he gets to hang with...errr...chick toys that much....

Ramos didn't go for the Blazer's, he was just there for the good vibes, great skating (kids actually skating in a skate shoe line - wtf?) and some light photog duties. I'm a bit past all night line-ups, as sexy as hanging out on the sidewalk all night may appear, but I scored me Blazers tho. Not that night or even the next day , but they were scored none the less. They are very nice... a bit expensive..but very nice all the same.
