Everybody sing - "Come and play, wasting the - day away........take me to where the air is clean - can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?"

I like the Kens and I have the In Crowd Monster box set but that's about it.

Don't own any.

If I came across the Bearded Prophet at a good price, I'd pick it up as I could get it work with other stuff. If there's a market crash, I'd look for and find room for the Zombies.

Slack, "little stash" is an understatement.

I'm selling the few VM figures I have though, I'm not going to keep collecting that line right now, they're a bit too big for me.

The original Martin figure was what set me off on collecting way back when.

I love the older stuff and the In-Crowd series (except I'm having trouble working out how to display all the lil' buggers!) . . . like Count the VM stuff is just a lil' too big to fit in with everything else so I'm passing on 'em.

Would jump on a VM In-Crowd set if one ever got put into production though!

I don't understand what's happening but the newer figures are turning out like shit due to bad paint jobs. I just got my pink King Ken and it's fucking garbage, the worst paint job I have seen next to Harvey and Jubs.

Wow. Didn't want to hear that. I was thinking of getting one of those at some point.

I got a red Calli the other week and it's sloppy. I can't even resell it cause I opened it and looks like I careless with it (rub marks and more).

oh no doubt on the Callis, Toy2R is destroying them with poor quality. I just emailed Raymond a bunch of pics of my Barcelona and he is going to "look into it". I hope I can swap for a good one but he says they have no stock on Biskup items. I was just in the LA area last week and we visited the Laguna art gallery or art museum, I forget what it's officially called. They have a bunch of gold dust callis and red/silvers and I asked the employee to pull out a few of the red/silvers so I could pick a good one. After seeing three of them all messed up with the same shitty scuff marks etc I had to tell her to put them all back. The only good thing about all these toys coming out fucked up straight from the factory is it sure makes it easy deciding what to buy and what to pass on.

They're cool.
Everything doesn't have to be skulls, death and japanese.
I like some of the Flying Cat stuff, StrangeCo etc etc.
Great mix and tension.

Already pleading my case to FlopDoodle and awaiting an answer.
Worst case scenario, it looks cool from a distance on the top shelf.
I'm not that OCD about it.

My pink King Ken looks great, and has no problems. He was slippery like a new born babe when opened, which was weird, to the point where he was dripping!

Have to agree that the VM series is too big for me to collect. I got Harvey and Jubbs, and don't really dig the sculpts, especailly the one with moulded hand in pocket. Wish I had Dworkin tho.

In-crowd rule, and I too would love VM character in In-crowd style...James, if u r reading this - lets do it!

The Pink King Ken is my 1st & only Amos. Don't really care for the others, but like this one (I'd get orange,as well, if it were not $$$). There is a bit of touch up line work w/ the 'flesh' colored paint along the perimeter of the face, but you need to be 6 inches or close to notice it.

But you're right about the slipperyness. So much WD-40 (?) I thought I was unpacking a rebuilt carborator!

Ha, now I find Youtube has been banned at work.

Anyway, I've seen it. I appear briefly at the end of the video by the way, stood with two others guys holding our signed Ken's.

Ouch! My pink KK's still sealed . . . I'm undecided whether to keep or sell after seeing pics of the actual pieces finishing.

Dummy's . . . Lau . . . now Jarvis! Build up a good rep and fanbase then blow it all by releasing a bunch of sub-standard shit!

Hopefully QC will be improved as and when the In Crowd series get going again. I had to buy a bunch of the ICWF and Moulty range to get half decent sets together :?

this thread piqued my interest so I picked up Boner of the ICWF (hey, a skeleton suit and the name - how can I go wrong?).

I love the design but was surprised by the stature - thought it'd be bigger. Still, I like it.
