Free: take a drive up the hill and gawk at the mansions in Bel Air.

just an update californians, our tickets are booked! We are flying into San Francisco on 10/14 and i believe going straight to super7 to drop our luggage. haha

driving down the coast over the weekend, stopping in san jose for the wincheseter mystery house

then on to Disneyland/LA, and we are flying out of there on 10/21. I'll post a more "day by day" agenda when its worked out alittle better, but if anyone in those areas wants to show us around a little bit, or just get a bite to eat (or have a mini-meetup) let us know.

I'm SO EXCITED!
:)

we both frequent the same coffee shop(swork) right by my apartment.

i dont think that the record shop is doing too well these days and might be in jeopardy of closing

make sure to stop at "the hat", there are a few different locations through LA
it's way better than tommy's. their chili fries are excellent, as is their pastrami.

if you're into indian food, check out this place called "Paru" in hollywood.

also, if you go to amoeba, take the time to catch a movie at the arclight. best cinematic experience you will have in LA

A friend of mine is still going thru a toy couple break up - they had one of everything, and get together occasionally to determine who keeps what - must yet another heartbreaking part of the separation!

Can't they just rotate the toys? Timeshare seems like the cheaper option...

this doesn't speak well of our relationship, but skylar and i have two of many things (toys/books/dvds)...I am not ripping that pushead toy in half, so we just shell out double. we are dumb.

on the up side, if we are together forever, we are buidling a sweet little ebay nest egg.

You must go to the Museum of Jurassic Technology, on Venice Blvd. in Culver City. There's a Versailles just down the street too!

It's best if you don't know anything about it before you go. They're open on Saturdays. It's my favorite place of all time.
