At the last minute I got invited to teh Simpsons Premiere last night...which I was STOKED about as I've never been to anything like that, and this movie is one of my most anticipated.

Premiere was a pain in teh ass to start with, pushy security, metal detectors, cell phone hand-in nightmare, long wait (seated at 6:30, movie didn't kick off until after 8 ). Bumped into Takachi (sp?) who did one of teh Simpsons Vans, and designs for Stussy amongst others, and chatted to him in teh Will Call line, which made that more fun. Seing Dcotor Phil's head, then Dr Phil, in a worse seat than me was a laugh. Oh, Princess Leia (aka Carrie Fisher) was a SW geek blast too.

Party after was a BLAST tho! Mainly cos it was a mixture of oiks (like me) and wanna-bes, and a few celebs. Great FREE hi quality food and drinx, giant circular bar shaped like a pink frosted donut. Yellow carpet everywhere, various weird things, scored some Buzz Cola and a Squishee.

Highlight of the evening? A photo op with my favorite ENTOURAGE character - Lloyd! Very nice chap!

The movie? Don't want to say too much obviously. But it was good IMO. Not amazing, but good. I have some very specific points, but I feel that might say too much.
