Post Gargamel at SDCC: New Poll
Is it just me, or am I seeing new hope for the wretched (cprt Wendy O, and that was just an excuse to use that album title, Gargamel rule and are in no way, nor have they ever been, Wretched), in terms of some newly inspired popularity for Gargamel? Its funny, but to me, the Gargamel fight series has always been underrated, but since SDCC 06 I see way more love...or maybe I'm just imagining it.

Here's my new poll to find out if this observation is true.

I know that my interest has been raised after seeing the Gargadeath and the absolutely goregeous green Gargamess. Now I want more... it's a sickness...

Yep, I think their showing at SDCC really turned a few heads. The green Gargamess is amazing - and the colorway was created by our very own Koji as well!

I have always liked their sculpts, but the colors are a little boring sometimes I think. I like the bright green color they had at the con, and wish they did more like it.

The color on the green Gargamess sold me on that fig, but it's gotta be that kick ass like that, Koji rocks! I like everybody else regret not getting the Gargadeath, such a nice chocolate brown and the sculpt of the back of the head is amazing.

I always liked certain ones from the Gargamel fight series - Cumberlian and Bullmask namely - but not all the fight series. Certain colours are really awesome too. The green Gargamess was the best of that guy so far I think.
It's the same with SB with me too - I only like about half the fight styles enough to buy.

Gargamel has a diverse range of toys. Smoking Corps are fantastic as are the little round robots. I don't like the Hedoran guys at all except the one "Restroyer" sculpt.

I think the love for Gargamel kinda dropped off when they said they weren't goingto do anymore fight figures and then BAM! Out came some new Fight figures and they are off and running again!

I have always liked them but I do think the color runs got carried away there for awhile where you could pick up at least three or four different Pinwheels, Wheelbarrows or Gargamess in a short period of time. Too many colors in too short a time!

I definitely appreciated Gargamel more after the con. They brought great toys, and were super nice guys as well. I am still more into their Zagaron/Hedoran kind of stuff than the fight figures (with the exception of the mighty Gargadeath), but do have a higher appreciation for them overall now.

I was suprised that I spent more money with them at the con than anyone else, but truth be told, that's probably just because I missed the Pushead thing

SB took the most money from me I think, even taking into account the Kaws/Pus handpaint. Wish I had spent more at Gargamel though.

Gargamel has always rocked my world with whatever sculpt they come out with. I think having Koji on the team definitely adds a new dimension to their toys. He breathed new life into the gargamel fight series already.

I am not sure what is or what is not "fight series." I don't like a lot of the gargamel stuff, but some of it, I like more than most. So there!

In particular, I REALLY like the clear Dethra and the Bwana Restroyer, and the clear and pink crawling hedorah. The rest... well, its OK. Oh yeah! I like some colorways of the Zagoran and the cow thing (zagoran with cow-like head - bakobusa or whatever).

Ok... so after re-reading all the posts... I guess I don't even like fight figures of any kind, whether by Gargamel or not. Yippee! Save me some big bucks.

i've never been a fan of gargamel fight figures, but have always leaned towards liking the gargamess a bit.
(of course, i have a crapload of other gargamel toys i love)

well the green gargamess put me over the top!! i ordered it and am now finding myself drooling over other colorways.

i love gargamel no matter what they do, but that green beast turned my head straight around.

nice job Koji!!! :D
