Awesome!

Howabout NERD-a-Q shirts in tribute to NERDQuake - the first, and IMO BEST Skullbrain event ever.

NubeNotes: NERDQuake was the OG Skullbrain event, back when everyone was excited about toys and (most) folk got along. NERDquake was Ramos curated and happened at SDCC 2006 (or was it 07?). The first one was the best IMHO , SUPER sweaty, and a lot of folk meeting for teh first time. I sat at the door, took tickets and attempted to stop people taking drinks outside. I wasnt very good at it and people got annoyed cos it was like a furnace inside. Justin from the Locust DJ'd. The second was more user friendly, and we got the first look at Toypunks, plus a table of low priced HP smoguns from Gargamel and various raffle prizes. Various folk DJ'd and I recall Datadub spinning LCD Soundsystem. People got very drunk and danced funny. No one bitched about anything much. Great times.

I remember when I first joined SB I saw the flyer for NerdQuake. It sounded extremely fun! I did not attend because a) I was not old enough to enter the venue (still not old enough) and b) shyness to even talk to anyone else! I don't think I went to a meet up until 2010. Scott tried to get me to go to the dinner the year before but I was still all too shy.

Gonna be September I think Adam. I'm out of country for work for a while. Then Ill be scrambling when I get back. Also suffering from lack of Internet. But, it's nice to take a break from toys, although my toy addict side is screaming.
