Aren't we the lucky guy scoring on some beautiful customs lately?
Kudos to you and Paul. That's a stunner of one of my favorite figures. The glow just dies by itself and Paul brought it back to life and then some. I want a 5yl so bad.

This is gonna make you crazy, but have a guess where the blank Kaws 5YL came from?

HA!
I shoulda guessed!
Way to use that piece, Carl!
Well....how does he look in the dark, then, with this great new paint-up?
I'm still working on the piece that's comprised of all the opposite GiD parts....I'm very happy with how he's coming out, but it's slow going- a lot of re-sculpting involved. Getting to the point, tho, where I may post some teaser progress shots soon.....

Just so this makes sense for everyone, ungawa222 supplied my blank 5YL a while ago as a composite made from half a blue GID and half a green GID - so he glows in two different colors. I have not had him under a light source for long enough to charge him up, cos I didn't notice him glowing last night. Sure he will look rad.
Your resculpted guy sounds pretty amazing - look forward to the finished results!

Glad you and everyone digs it!
I know I miss it! One of my favorite projects probably ever.
I painted it at my girfriend's.
It was glowing an eerie blue in the hallway and she was afraid it would knock on the bedroom door in the moonlight.
