Anyone who is interested in the work that goes into these things should definitely check out the Manufacturing Kaiju thread. Great stuff. 2tftw wrote: Brian,
Thanks for taking the time to clarify and help some of us new guys out. I mentioned in the S4 questionnaire that I would really like to learn more about the production process. Before I even knew about how all of the S7 pieces were made by hand I was intrigued and now the more I learn the more excited/interested I become about the cogs that make the machine run, and apparently I'm not the only one. Please keep posts like this coming : ]
...and to stay on topic, I really like the darker colorway of this. Especially with the lightblue accents. That really makes them pop. Big Sal doesn't really float my boat but I'd like to see darker colors like this on a few more releases.

I think you need at least three beers in ya before you remember the rest of the lyrics. But it's really all about the dance anyway.

No problem. The archives are deep and wide and you will be rewarded handsomely if you check them out Lately I've been in the habit of hitting "View Active Topics" and just checking out what bubbles to the top but there really is some incredible information going back years. 2tftw wrote: poorbadger wrote: Anyone who is interested in the work that goes into these things should definitely check out the Manufacturing Kaiju thread. Re: Glitter Smoke Big Sal
Big Sal got here but there was a moment of uneasiness when the box arrived. Luckily for Sal and I the header card took the damage. Kind of a bummer about the card but I don't plan on selling him anyways. First Big Sal and i have to say, like most S7 pieces pictures just don't seem to do it proper justice. I'm sure it has been said before but it really pops in person. Even though it's the only one I have seen in person, this colorway is perfect for Big Sal.

 Re: Glitter Smoke Big Sal
Nice pic! Glad Sal arrived in one piece.
I do love this colorway...the colors do a great job accenting the figure's details, esp the the mask and tentacles.

What's really funny is that same scene ran through my head when I opened the mail box.

 Re: Glitter Smoke Big Sal
Not necessarily my favourite colourway but the black is a nice contrast to the generally bright and vibrant 'Family' . . . here's to more on MF's from the Darkside!
