Re: SUPER7 LUCKY BAGS & GARGAMEL CUSTOMS - MAY 25TH
Wow, I can't believe they released so many with Gargamel also attending SDCC so soon! So many great Deathras, and that camo Miborah is really nice. Hopefully you guys will post more glow pics

That camo one looks pretty boss.... what were they priced at? the one that made it online was my favorite zag from the show. very classy! yeah, the zags looked incredible. Really nice evolution of the gargamel guts style. I really like the guts on clear vinyl, solid limbs, skull combo. The bone-coloured skull inserts on the zags are fantastic.

Amazing looking show.. feeling the pain of being on the other side of the world. Gargamel customs just keep getting crazier, I hope we see some regular releases soon.

So does this mean you got one? All the hip kids already own the the ones from the Lucky Bags.

The barriers for me on the conifa customs are the price point and the similarity to the nike release. Not to discount the work or cost involved in making these customs, but i don't feel that they fit in the same $ ball park as other gargamel standard size customs. Especially since the Conifer sculpt is so similar to the Nike sculpt. I can't help but think it was a mistep to make the nike version available at the same time as the conifer release. Maybe if we'd never seen the nike sculpt released into the wild, we'd all be snapping the conifers right now, but the toy's association with the nike version just leaves me cold.

trueadrn wrote: price is out of my reach, was hoping for a lucky bag cast-off There weren't any GIDs from the Lucky Bags. Only pink and black. I agree that the toy is different from the usual Gargamel standard size figures, and has more of a mascot feel than zokki kaiju feel. But to me, it is no different than the other artist collaborations and has sufficient vintage character lineage to fit in with Gargamel's other figures. Snown still feels a little off to me because of the logo, but I do like the big Kitaro eye on it. ;P

not into clear customs much, but then there is so many figures from the show id love to buy.
while there is more and more boring derivative cheesy toys otherwise, gargamels custom shows are still as impressive as they have been for years. congrats!!!
many thanks for sharing pics folks.

2 made it online that I saw, I think 4-5 were there. There's pretty accurate show pics on people's flickr. I'm too lazy to go back and count though.

There were only a couple zags in the show. 2 made it online that were gone in minutes, in fact almost all of it was gone in minutes. Great show. 666doll wrote: BloodDrinker6969 wrote: 2 made it online that I saw, I think 4-5 were there. There's pretty accurate show pics on people's flickr. I'm too lazy to go back and count though.
