i love jazz, its nice and relaxing! i know very very little about it though. everytime i go to the record store with jazz on my mind i get overwhelmed and buy some boredoms album instead.

Congrats to the winner...
and Josh, pick up some Rahsaan Roland Kirk albums the next time you go cd shopping...would be a nice transition from those Boredoms albums...Kirk was a blind man who played up to 4 horns at once...really amazing albums. He played with Charles Mingus at times who i'd also recommend...try "Live at Carnegie Hall" which is 2 tracks of pure Jazz heaven...solos from all the players including Kirk.
And buying Coltrane's "A Love Supreme" wouldn't hurt in the relaxation department...a soothing album for when you have to answer millions of requests for the new RxH release.
