Not having any actual information I think I can still say with 100% certainty that there is no new mook as of yet.
I believe Flynn said something about the 2009 holiday season being the target date, but I can't find the post that I thought existed with this statement.

I miss the magazine.

If the Mook actually hit once a year, that'd be cool. I don't expect it to and that's not me complaining because I can totally see how tough it is to compile with all the other pies S7 has it's thumbs in. But the magazine was a quick, fun, nugget filled treat. I miss it. I actually still need lots of the back issues and don't see them on S7 for sale anymore either.

Just rambling though.

Super 7 Magazine is more handy and up to date--keeping up with the latest developments, etc.

Looks cool. Before I get involved in an overseas pre-order (never my favorite thing to do) I'd like to politely inquire if S7 will have thse upon release.

It's got several of my favorite toys on the cover (Ecchi, Gumoz, Uamou, Ilanena 3pack) so I'm sold.

Not to knock it, but I don't see a lot of kaiju on that cover. Yeah, I'm being "that" guy. But I get the gist of it, just being a jag So IS this the second Mook? I kinda was hoping for the next to match the first, kind of a series. I miss the magazine.

I do find it odd that none of the Super7 staff has spoken up yet. Whats up guys are we gonna see a US release, and info ??

Super7 will be the US distributor of the book from what I believe.
That's why their name is on it.

But getting back to the mook, where is it? An update would be nice for those of us that bought subscriptions in 2007.

I worked on this book with the editor of Hyper Hobby in Japan. It is a comprehensive look at all the "neo-kaiju" companies and characters out there. It is a great book. Yes, we will have it in stock by the brick.

It is not the new mook, we are waiting for the mook street date to be finalized.

Glad to hear this book will be available stateside... and that a new mook is forthcoming too. Go S7!

you will find tons of new details that u never noticed before.
cant think of any other mag that is filled with so many news, info, fotos, etc.

I don't own them all. I don't even own half. The webstore was forever stocked until lately. I was just voicing my preference of format but I understand s7's choice too.

Mook, we switched publishers, and we are still waiting on the final "official date" but it will be late this year. Yeah, I know, it has been a while, but books ain't exactly cheap, and we can't do all the distro ourselves. It will be worth the wait.
