Well...for those bay area people that missed the show, it's too bad. It was a short but insightful presentation. It was so interesting that I only snapped one shot on Dora's camera (sorry Dora). It was nice to hear how designing for yourself and making the things you want and like can do nothing but improve, what Dora calls, the money making projects. Knowing that is one thing, actually hearing and seeing how they connect just adds confirmation. It was great to see pieces from their professional side and looking at the pieces and listening to Dora brought me back to my college days of listening to my teachers talk about their work, but really seeing and understanding what she was saying, not just with her words but also the language that the pieces had and how they relate to one another, and then hearing how ideas in the Lab have brought about a variety of clients. Yeah...I was geekin out in my head when I saw the corporate report they had to do.
