I know. Haven't made the pilgrimage yet. I love vintage so I know I'd get a big kick out of the place. OTOH It's nice having Heroes Club within walking distance of where I live. They may not carry the sort of kaiju we collect, but there's always plenty to look at. I wish they'd let me take pictures of their Bruce Lee doll collection but for some reason "no photos allowed."

Don't ask Robin about the "no photos" rule....especially when it comes to Bruce Lee items...unless you want to ruffle him up a bit. I was at the store and a customer of his asked him about some of the Bruce Lee items. It seemed like a sore subject to bring up. It basically boils down to...people are greedy and want money...and just because you trained with Bruce Lee for years, doesn't make you a master of his system after his death.

I guess I'd better not ask then! He's always been a perfect gentleman to me though. I wish he got more biz. On the other hand, he's so enmeshed in the old school way of thinking about kaiju. When I asked him if he ever carried anything by Gargamel, he hadn't even heard of them. I love checking out all the blind box stuff though. Picked up quite a few of those little historical Samurai armor minis.

Glenn I have a question about the S7 in-store sale.
Are we going to be given a price list prior or are we just going to be let in and then we can look at the toys and the first person in gets first pick and so on and so forth?

CCPfan wrote: hey Pogue, hate to ask 'bout it but are the minis going to be just at S7 or will TT and other stores also have 'em tomorrow? I'm going to be downtown around 1 and wanted to stop by TT, but if they won't have any then I need to plan on zipping home to buy them from S7
TT will have the Mini Red Chaos and the Mini Mutant Head tomorrow for sale. As well as the Hone Borg and Bero Bero.
there are 2 of the new Bigaro, that will be "won" (for sale) by drawing numbers.
and there is 1 Yellow Chaos for free to be handed out by lottery.
In addition, there will be a handful of rare or recent RxH and S7 pieces.
Hope this answers any questions at least about what TT will have when doors open tomorrow.

That would be wicked if Rough Trade started selling all this good shit!
You still have to hold your nose when you walk past that potent cheese shop on the corner though.

We got to S7 like half an hour ago (needed to get some school work done, thought it would be a good opportunity) and we're #2-3 in line. I really didn't think anyone else would be here this early.

I'm not sure, he said he was someone's brother and he was in town already so he was asked to stand in line for him.
edit: brother showed up, I think he's Autopsy on the boards, I hope I'm not wrong.

So, we know the 11AM sale pics/prices/email addy will be posted here in Store Pit forum - Has Glenn told us whether it will be in this thread or in a new one? Interesting - Sort of a combination speed-reading/photo-scanning, speed-decision-making (speed-budgeting?), and speed-typing contest.
Presumably the oldies are limited to one-item-per-person. First email to arrive at S7 with a timestamp after the pic-price-post gets his/her #1 choice (only), second email gets his/her highest unclaimed choice, etc. I can't imagine that the first-arriving email gets to skim off five. If that pic we've seen is only 1/2 to 1/3 of the stuff coming up FS, I guess we could theoretically get through more than one 'round' ... ? (Not that I expect any of my picks to survive to a second round.)
Props to setyourgoals and Autopsy for lining up at/before 6AM, I imagine it's chilly out there on Post before sunrise.
