Re: Ojo, Bangal, Zag & Mummy
Just ordered the mummy boy. I've been looking forward to this guy since last week...am I the only one though? I haven't seen it mentioned on here until now. The colors kind of remind me of the Yummy Mummy cereal mascot.

Re: Ojo, Bangal, Zag & Mummy
I was thinking the colors/name of the mummyboy were a reference to the butanohana dust monsters (purples, reds)

I really like the Bangal figure; but why is it called Bangal when the character's name is Hollis? Thanks.

Re: Ojo, Bangal, Zag & Mummy
Thanks for the clarification, everyone. I apprceiate the link. The reason I asked is because the description on the S7 website says "This is the first release of Bangal outside of Tokyo. Gargamel puts its spin on Le Merde's resin Hollis."

Re: Ojo, Bangal, Zag & Mummy
$100 for the Bengal. Ouch, I wanted one but was expecting a more fight figure size price tag.

Triple That I was expecting it to drop at $80, I had no choice though and caved. What can I say, I'm a sucker for LM and this colorway is Super delicious! I still like it better at $80 - just my opinion.

Re: Ojo, Bangal, Zag & Mummy
I feel the same. I would love one of those Bangals but not at such a hefty price. With the economy the way it is, and has obviously affected the collecting community, I am really surprised to see these retail for this much. What happened to the 40.00 - 60.00 figures? If this is the trend of new releases I am prepared to scale down quite a bit.

Re: Ojo, Bangal, Zag & Mummy
I figured the Bangal was going to be this price, just like the other Gargamel artist figures i.e. Ojo Rojo, Tokoji Seijin, Globby, etc. The gargamel figures are still great, I just can't justify the price on these guys anymore though.

Re: Ojo, Bangal, Zag & Mummy
I'm with you guys on the Bangal. I would like one, but $100 and it's being dropped along with the Ojo and mini zag! Too much!

Re: Ojo, Bangal, Zag & Mummy
It's been explained a few times on the prices for the Ojo and the Bangal. $50-60 would be awesome but these guys aren't fight figure sized.

Re: Ojo, Bangal, Zag & Mummy
As Joe stated..it's been discussed before. All gargamel collaborations usually are higher (100) for reasons stated in a few other threads. Odoron, bangal, tokoji etc...
