I just saw this! Got some air time, nice of them to show some footage of the Super 7 vinyl as well and not just the ReAction figures

I'm waiting for an episode where Toy Hunter flies over to Japan and shops through Mandarake but that will never happen

ha, yeah! fame and fortune are on their way im sure, Alex and I have already signed the papers on matching yachts.

It was fun to do the thing with Jordan and Toy Hunters, funny to see what took like 30 minutes to film came out to like 30 seconds of air time.

I think you need an Oscar for acting like it was a spontaneous meeting. It was the most spontaneous looking of all the supposedly spontaneous meetings they had on that episode.

Congrats to the S7 team on the appearance.

I had not heard of this show before, but just started watching it from the beginning after learning about it here. Seems okay, but I have to say I really disappointed to see yet another show that (1) is focused solely on the monetary value of toys/collectables, and especially (2) is all about re-selling toys for profit. :x It's still far better than Collection Intervention of course, but when are we going to get something that is dedicated to just the collections themselves, the stories behind the items, and the love of building a collection. If you haven't seen it, I would also recommend Extreme Collectors; it is still too short on each item/collection, and is concerned with valuation (primarily for appraisal though), but at least there is more of a love aspect to it, instead of just reselling as a business. I think we have far enough of those shows already, yet every day there seems to be more popping up (honestly, how many pawning shows can there really be a demand for?).

Sorry I dont get on the boards much now a days. True Story: Jordan was way cooler off camera than he was on camera. The whole shoot was quick and painless considering it was at the HEIGHT of SDCC and we were short handed with able bodies who could work.

The TV show kind of makes working the store unbearable at times. Every joe schmoe sees them talk about some weird figure that everybody thinks they have at a super inflated price. The next day we always get a influx of dummies who all think they have a double telescoping luke that they want to sell us for 10,000.00. I wish was kidding. I wish you could see my best impression of Rick from Pawn Stars as I laugh in their face.

Blame the success of Antiques Roadshow. (At least on that show they do give some relevant object history.) Or maybe blame eBay for making everyone think that their garage sale is a gold mine. Or blame Sam. Just because.

Yeah I've heard about the show ruining a few Cali toy shows as well. After a couple appearances on the show so many people show up now that lots of sellers have literally doubled their prices on everything. Tough part is that the new collectors aren't really into the toys or the fun, just looking for stuff to flip themselves.
