They have no way of knowing if a seller is going to have the item or not. General rule of thumb is, if the seller has a pre-order, they are supposed to have it in hand and shipped within 30 days. Again though, they don't know if the seller will have the product, doesn't have it, etc...

Regardless though, those prices are ridiculous and I wonder who those folks even are that believe it is okay to even flip something at such a stupid price.

True but the other half of the problem is, who are the idiots willing to pay these prices. The sellers wouldn't do it if there wasn't a market.
But I think this side conversation is derailing the otherwise fun and exciting topic of S7 SDCC releases.
