so, you sayin' maybe I shouldn't snarf up that vinyl smell a few times a day? Cuz (seriously), I do that ALL THE TIME!
LASH, did you see the crazy filled-clear Mavs at mandarake, or are you not into that design?

They growing on me but for now I'm gonna focus on the doro.
Its the perfect cross between a few monsters and the size is good for my cramped shelfs

Yeah you have to devote some space if you want to display a bunch of Maverasu's, no doubt!

I can't believe I missed this conversation till now! Big cronic fan but my collection is rather small as of now; I can only afford my must have designs. Have some nice ones coming that Andy would be proud of Hopefully I can share all of those when they arrive.
BTW Lash, did you score some of the GID dorogami's? Would love to see pictures of those all lined up together in the dark.

I'm suprised someone, I think it was Glenn, commented that the sculpts were boring for the Cronic figures, I disagree with him on that point.. I really enjoy the figures... though I'm still evolving from my western vinyl collection. ;P
I also don't see why there has to be one-up-manship about who did or said what first with regards to collecting. There's always going to be a first and probably a last
Now those of you who are bored with your older Cronic figures, PM me, if I haven't got it I'll take it*
*excluding Bakarsu's. I just can't get into that sculpt

No love for the Mav? Despite the controversy over what he's holding in those four arms, I dig the sculp. but, yes, requires lots of shelf space.
and yes, Glenn, I like how the arms on either side may be a bit off-kilter and not completely symetrical
More clear Mavs!
oh, and on the subject of that yellow Asu with the black helmet, if I ever got one cheap, I would ask someone like LASH to paint it.

That's what made me not pick any of these up when they first started coming out.. way too "off" for me.. just looks lazy imo
but then the ika gilas looked like a mirror image in illustrator and that was a turn off too

Kind of ironic coming from a hype writer.

Collect what you like and damn the critics.

IMO Cronic sucks, and I think it's funny that about 6 months ago I couldn't sell a Dorogami for a little more than half retail but today it's the newest trend.

Not really a trend just a few people buying them at this point. I only like the gid w/spray and the unpinted clear versions of the dorogami.

Don't listen to these guys. Keep buying Chronic before it becomes even a bigger trend. It's probably the next big thing.

Adios .....
I guess the hate for the dorogami outweighs the love.

I guess your right, I can especially see how the little ones will be getting hotter in the coming months, not a bad sculpt and some pretty amazing paint jobs out there.

Hold up ... so do you think cronic sucks or do you like his stuf ??
I for one only really like the doro the rest haven't yet grown on me. But I haven't given them the chance also.
Is it the same for you ??
