I've seen it go as high as $170 during the SB fan explosion but I think Count is right...$150 max. Althought this is one of my favorite SB figures ever.

Yeah I've seen them go for up to $175, but I would not say that is a good price.

It is a great Brain though.

I've noticed the same thing with SB prices dropping.

I think it's a mix of some people getting out of the game, others dropping the non-essential figures from their collection while the prices are still sort of high and others mixing up their collection more.

I used to only collect SB more or less but my collection has drifted a lot this past year.

buy what you like - pay what you can - I know the feeling from being a Kubrick collector for years now sometimes I thank god they are not as popular as they were. On one hand I can pick up figs i lusted after for cheap cheap (Mad Capsule boxed set of 10 kubes for 4000 yen!!!!!!) but sometimes it pains me to see some fig I dropped a large chunk of change for a few years back now going for a fraction of what I paid for it. But sometimes I think I am learning to be a little less impulsive and more long range minded - and that goes away and I'm still right down in the fever frenzy. Possibly that is part of the fun of collecting this stuff.

So What do you think will happen with the Luke Chueh Possessed figure? Numbers seem high, though the gold version is gold-in-hand right now ( though I think the white is right on for the figure )

And the Bay is getting smoking prices on early Blobpus. Keeps me from worrying to much about finding "one of each".

I already email jl and gave him my input on this.

The Head shop brain is also my favorite SB figure, and was also one of the most difficult for me to get. I paid $175 for mine quite a while back. If anyone has one for cheap I'd LOVE to have a second one - just to place him somewhere else in my display.

Also, it pains me that people are selling off SB right, left and center because it isn't new and trendy.

While I do asee some stuff being sold off, the store has seen a rise in vintage SB sales, so I think it may be a recycling of collectors (old vs. new) as well as some people making their collections more focused as all of these companies are more available than ever. (you can blame us for that!)
