Xonocastle,
But if they take the info out BEFORE it goes no sale...
That ain't right.
Can I say it gives Hong Kong a bad name, or would that be an oxymoron?

If you look on the bottom of the Old Balance page or the opening entry page u'll see the phrase "All Wrongs Reserved". I'm not sure if that's clever but it sure is ironic.

At around 10:25 pm PST on the date (Friday night) of the sale I did check their site and the sale info was still up. I posted wondering if BLObPUS reps were maybe checking to see if they were offered for real.
It was definitely not taken down before the time of the sale and was up at least 25 minutes after the sale would have started.

They only took down the pictures of the item's. The info to order them was up in the News section the whole time. When the Blobpus was sold out they updated the news section with Blobpus (sold out) Dokugan (still available). Then once both items were sold out they updated the section again.
Btw I did score a pair, the Blobpus addict in me killed my conscience.

Quote: Interesting comments. I went to the Old Balance site on the offering date to see if they were legit. It would appear as if the offer mysteriously disappeared. No mention of the offering at all. No access through the offer window. Nothing. Then on Sunday, this morning, I go to the site to find out they SOLD OUT. Coincidence?!! Doubtlful.
Did any one get one? I know you have to go the Kaiju Witness Protection Program to admit this, but it would add legitimacy to the negative claims if no-one else was able to get one through the offering.
Apparently, something is fishy in Japan. And Khanate--- Maybe you were offered a set to quell the discussion. You know, throw a dog a bone, so you can eat your roast in peace.
This has all the earmarks of a bogus offering. Somebody mention this to Mori, OK?
Give us a break, monkey. The offer was up all night, exactly the way brooks55 described it. I bought a set myself, since there didn't seem to be foul play, and I don't jump like a dog when somebody says I should boycott something. I know of 3 other folks from the boards that bought them as well, so I'm assuming OB took a hint from the abuse - it's probable that they read this forum as well. I don't consider it support of OB, it's support of Blobpus.

Very likely indeed if, as has been said so many times here and offline, OB is the SB member they say he is.
"Each according to the dictates of their own conscience" and all that. For what it's worth I trust what I hear from SB members who have been active in the scene far longer than I.

... is a four letter word.
I can see Khanate's point of view if the deal with OB is having Blobpus pay for all the overheads. If no one supports this release then I feel sorry for Blobpus.
Not taking sides but just wanted to share. I went into his shop to help a member buy a Blobpus since I was in the area that day to get some clay for toymaking. Old Balance boss said that all the figures are sold out from the emails except for one Dokugan. Also it was nice to see the full set of Barom 1 vintage figs in front of my eyes.
He sold me a clear GID Galtan for $45, which is very cheap.
I also saw an OB future release of Heater figures... 3 GID ones... looks like there's more fighting to do guys.
