don't buy toys because they are rare. buy them because you like them.
and if you have enough luck and patience, you might win out...skylar got his employee secreter for $35 before anyone was chomping at the bit for them.
hah.

I heard a toy wasn't cool unless it cost $2000 or there were less than 10 of them in the world.

The Skullbrains and Obakes are my favorites by far, but there's something about the Madballs that speaks to me, particularly the orange & black. The Mantises are very cool, too.
The Bee is the only design I'm not really feeling. Don't like 'em at all.

The Mantis is the best SB sculpt out in my opinion, followed by the frankenghost (for me anyway)

For all my admiration of 'em I only have the 3 'easier to get' versions . . . they're nice, but after my early collecting flurry of $$$, not $200 nice!

How about the B-Man Skullbrain? That is one of my favorites and it is very recent. Nice sculpt and paint and I like the inclusion of the Batman bed sheet inner plush figure. Not a Secreter, but still a cool Skullbrain.

I have one on the way! I agree, one of the best Skullbrains for all the reasons you mentioned and more.

It's OK, but having heard the name before the concept I had a mental picture of a vintage Batman colored Brain . . . Overall 2-tone blue-grey, black and yellow detailing and maybe even a flesh coloured head (a'la Cocky) . . . so the actual piece was a lilttle lacklustre . . . even though the bedsheet concept and clear/spray detailing was nice, it wasn't as 'BATMAN as anticipated!
