Post RxH non-collector question
I remember a show in Japan a few months ago that was one of the first (to my knowledge) shows where Mori showed off his collection. I remember that there was an all yellow chaos no paint app. Was this a proto or was this a super limited release? I specifically remember it a very flattering color to show off the sculpt.

I seem to remember the last time I was in Tokyo, an all yellow Chaos being sold as a surprise Junk Spot release. I missed it but went over to check out the store anyway. This was a few months back. If that's the case (I'm pretty sure I'm remembering the color correctly) there should be a few out there.

I'm particularly taken with the color of the vinyl being a solid color, not so much a paint app. Anyways I'm hoping that Mori holds out the unpainted series and releases a yellow set.

I think we saw the opaque-yellow-unpaint Chaos in some Kai-Zine 'Japan showcase' pics posted long (8 months +?) before the TT release. I guess they could have been made that far in advance, but in any event I agree it would be a great color for an unpaint set.

I'd even love to see an all-unpaint-Chaos set realeased - an opaque-dark-green, clear-yellow and opaque-yellow Chaos together as a set would be strong. Maybe a quartet, with a clear-green unpaint too ... (though both greens would need new eye colors to distinguish them from earlier pieces).

I know some Rotofugi's green no paints were dropped at Junk Spot a while back I think those may have been what you saw Andy - not sure about the TT no paints but if so they would have been in October/November as the TT figs dropped around halloween. The (in)famous no paint Yellow is actually a test shot from a couple of years ago.

Enjoy

Although its hard to tell....the yellow in that shot looks a bit more vibrant than the TT test shot that I thought we saw on the table in front of Mori in that shot of the recent Hobby Complex show...

If I recall, in that pic, he was next to some friends from Sunguts, with some custom painted fleshie figures, and some unpainted blanks. Thought I spied the unpainted yellow in that pic...and its a bit lighter yellow vinyl.....hard to tell tho'.
