No!!!...The decline continues....damn I wish Hiddy and Crew would go on a Long Vacation...I dunno maybe eat some ACID.... LOL! .......then....
Come back with a creative Vengence to DESTROY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The HP's and Usugrows have Ruled though!!!

I find it strange that the older SB stuff has lost value when the new stuff sucks....makes me appreciate the Genius of the old stuff more......+ all the New fans are Lucky for now ...but I think the old stuff is going to scarce up again cause its fuckin classic pre-decline SECRET BASE.

I like the new head sculpt. Maybe they should make a more fight figurish body that resembles a shark to go along with it.

Just a thought . . . maybe it's just a limited kinda crossover release, in a similar vein to the Balzac x SB SkullMerry figs from last year . . . the cowskull dudes!

When I first saw the skullmerry I thought they were a ram's skull, which is way better for obvious reasons, so I still pretend they are. Those figures also rock compared to this shark dude

They may well be . . . I never really thought much about it!

They do indeed rock hard. More 'detailed' colour apps on the Skull Merry would be great, but I fear, like the Bagmen, they are mostly relegated to flat solid colours. :(

The ram skull is just evil and a sign of the beast 666 bla bla bla, a cow skull wouldn't reallyyyy make as much sense to me, and even if it was I would pretend it was a rams skull.

I would like to see them release some official colored ones or maybe some clears would be amazing as well. Still on the lookout for the black and red versions of the fight ones though.

True, but if it was a GRAPPLE (whatever that is) crossover it wouldn't be a pure SB design and compromises would have had to be made.

i'm torn, i will be saving $ because i will not be buying these shark guys but i do wish they had done more with the skullxmerry skulpt instead of releasing these. more painted or clear skullxmerry would rock.

Let's hope that Balzac and Merry go on tour again, so that they can release more of those figures. I loved 'em, but many people weren't into them.

I don't think these are a Balzac related toy, it was just conjecture up the thread.

The SkullxMerry figures were Balzac related, not these new shark guys.

Exactly . . . just a thought (double-guess) as to how it seems like a similar kinda crossover variation with GRAPPLE . . . . I'm pretty csure it's NOT a Balzac related release (I just went off on a virtual tangent wishing the SkullMerry sculpt would show up again) :D

Everyone knew they weren't related to balzac, they were just saying that a different collab would have been better.

Has anyone ever ate a grapple? They have them at whole foods by my house, its an apple that tastes like a grape.

I'm just suprised there hasn't been a host of "shark jumping" jokes...

Well played SB'ers!

i knew they weren't related, i was just saying...the molds are made, why not keep doing the sculpt as releases instead of releasing a new sculpt.

i could be wrong, but i think theres some complication with the sculpt being tied in with merry. i know balzac was (is still?) supposed to do another version of those skullmen at least, they were going to do cracked bones (which is another variation we havent seen yet either) i believe there was then a problem just because the colab was between the bands and secret base so SB couldnt just do more withought permission or something of the sort, the last bit is just speculation but its i guess some insight into what may be going on with that sculpt. maybe someone else can elaborate on these details? ...just to go a little more off topic

I can clear a few things up. The SkullMerry and SkullBBM's head is, in fact, a ram (sheep) skull. I always though it was pretty cool... being a scapegoat, myself.

There still are plans for more SkullMerry's... I don't know if there will be a 'cracked bones' version or not, but we will see. The original releases were quite popular. Right now we are doing a Shocker/Merry collab Hoodie (today is the last day to pre-order through SWW), but the collab's will keep happening. So, a new colorway of the toys is quite probable sometime in the future.
