How do these store owners acquire the one-offs and prototypes? Are they usually gifts?
I remember seeing an unpainted flesh set of Amapro toys at some shop in Nakano Broadway last year.

Oh, now I recognize it as the black handpainted Hiyakumeruge.

I think Rainbow needs to re-issue some of the early figures (early?!?, yeah, like from 4 years ago). To pay $3000.00 for a new toy that Rainbow can reissue at anytime is insane. At least if you pay that for a vintage monster, you know they ain't going to make anymore of them.

I'm not in favor of reissuing the Rainbow figures.

that is very cool but $3K is a mighty coin to drop!
i think a glow set would be a nice reissue. glow mushroom demon would be keen.
does anyone know approx the run size on Rainbow figures?

ridiculous prices going around right now on some stuff...I'll be surprised if the current market situation supports this or if it's just people fishing...
seeing that Rainbow is putting out another Doruge (unpainted GID) maybe they will put out an other group of the early demons...
I know it's either that or I'll be perfectly happy with the demons I already have...whoever is selling that can shove it up their tookus.

Not that it makes it worth the price IMO, but the run size on that particular hand is very low; less than 10 and maybe under 5.

The last hand painted Udegeruge I saw was on YJA around last Spring/Summer and it ended at a little over 100,000 yen. This price is insane (although if I had $3000 to flush I'd probably buy it).

A $3000 price tag doesn't mean that its worth three grand.
This isn't any different than a Dokurokkusu being listed for 80,000 yen or those 600,000 Bemons.
I'd be excited about a GID Udegeruge cause the silhouette would be really cool.
Not sure it would be that exciting to see the others as GID.

Yeah, I'm interested to see if it ever sells for that price. I thought the one that sold last year for $1000 was too high.
An Udegeruge glow would be fabulous. I'd also like to see the mushroom, lips, hair, and fish scale demons as glowies, but I'd settle for scoring one of those glow Doruges.
