Sanjeev you take the best GID shots. What camera do you use? All your pics of GID toys on Toybox are what got me so hot to trot for GID figures. That GID M1 Kaijuzoo custom mechagodzilla with the purple paint is amazing!

Hehe...thanks for the comments, guys! Honestly, my camera's just a Canon Powershot S50. Nothing special by any means, but with up to 15 seconds of exposure time, great glow shots are possible (incidentally, these Galtans are SO DAMN bright, I only used 5 seconds!).

Still, any half-decent digital camera with manual settings for shutter speed (exposure time) and aperture size should be able to take champion pics. For regular toy shots with the S50? Well....let's just say that I sure wouldn't mind an upgrade!

Oh, and glad you dug that KaijuZoo M1 MG2/Titano set! John Groff's working on another glowie for me as we speak (type)...can't wait!

Those shots are great, esp the glow versions. It's funny---I like that Kozik Galtan a lot better with the lights off.




(I'll ask you again to please, bust out the lead underwear and take some shots of your entire glowie kingdom. I know you've been at this for a few years, and I suspect your stash is pretty astounding...)

Yeah, that Kozik Galtan's hot. The "coral sea" color scheme is banging. The two make a great pair.

And as for updated collection pics, I literally have glowies strewn about the floor, in my living room...all the fuck over the place. Why? Completely out of shelf space in my bedroom! In a couple weeks, I'm buying new shelving just for glowies, so I'll be rearranging *everything* at that point.

Honestly, though, the collection's not THAT huge. I go for quality over quantity. There are many common pieces that I don't have simply because they don't "speak" to me. Still...I think I'm around 120 or so!

I'm not sure about SF this summer. I'd love to go, but my cohort(s) on the Comicon trip may not be able to make it happen. I'll keep ya posted.

Lastly, if ya like purple GID, I have something very special to shoot (hopefully) tonight! Stay tuned...
