Ver. 2.0 hasn't even dropped yet!
I'm not sure how I feel about the polka dots, but I bet they'll grow on me. Goodbye, ¥9500!

The blog says you can call and make a pre-order (and then send the cash) or do a cash pre-order at SuperFest next week. No release date yet, though.

And once again I'm turned off by the thing.
I need to hunt down V.2.

I've gone back & forth on this sculpt, but this paint job addresses some of its weaknesses IMO. the dots give it a 60s TYO feel.
easily the best so far.

One of the more interesting sculpts this year in a sloppy shambling kind of way if you think and buy outside of the lines. Looks like it came from another world.

I dig it...though the paint app doesn't show off the sculpt as well as the first few versions.

Yeah...that's the reason I'm not 100% into it. I think the Dempagon sculpt is REALLY strong, but its a "junk kaiju" and the dots look very "deco". I'm not quite sure how those two styles will work together, but I bet it will look good in person.
