Anraku isn't on hiatus. It was just a brief break.

Yeah I don't know if his older figures can skyrocket any higher...at least I hope not.
edit: I think actually with more stuff coming out, some stuff will continue to decrease in price. Sure old gogas that were produced in editions of 10 or less or something will hold their value (at least for a little while longer)...but other stuff will drop I think.

The G-Mamaregon should be arriving soon. Whomever gets them first please post some pics. I'm curious to see the final look to this figure

 Re: New Anraku G Mamaregon
I really love this guys stuff, but it's so uber limited it just dosen't seem worth it to add him on my "companies I buy from" list. I suppose if something passed me by I'd buy it (shrugs), but then again his stuff, at least in resale value, seems to fetch such high prices. Kinda like bemons, they're great, really really great, but not THAT great, if you know what I mean. I still love looking at his work though. I always love seeing new pics of new toys, so very beautiful.

Not that I want another person to compete with. The jump in prices only seems to have happened recently. They are expensive new, but not crazy, and until recently only the goga has been expensive. And that has doubled in the last year or so. I'm hoping that the inflated after market prices will be fleeting.

Anraku is far and away the best toy company out there for me. This line has brought me the most satisfaction being a collector. The quality is always spectacular, and there is a lot of mystery around who Anraku is. Makes it more interesting for me. I wish I had downloaded some of those animations while they were up though.

 Re: New Anraku G Mamaregon
Very nice. It has a different feel than the other Anraku pieces... almost like one of the vintage dinosaur vinyls.

 Re: New Anraku G Mamaregon
The extra heads are cool. Not sure what I'm going to do with them. Maybe I'll mount them on some of these and hang them on my wall like a hunting trophy.

 Re: New Anraku G Mamaregon
I agree with Daniel, the G-Mamaregon has a classic Bullmark style to him. He's starting to grow on me now that he's paired up on the shelf. Very hulking piece of vinyl. As for my gift I got a mini goga Not really just some postcards.

 Re: New Anraku G Mamaregon
i think you're dreaming if you think the prices on gogas will ever go down. it's only one of the rarer, most beautiful, highly desired sculpts out there, as people get added into the gene pool (new kaiju lovers), the only way this toy is ever gonna go is UP!
the interesting thing about the goga i find is that almost everyone, no matter there interest, whether it be vintage, or secret base or real head or blobpus, almost everyone seems to agree on this toy. i hate to say it, but the goga is kinda like the mrbunny of the kaiju world!

 Re: New Anraku G Mamaregon
Today I got my Mamaregon and Cambodia and I'm surprised. They are very nice and looking great. Very nice paint job. I wasn't sure if I should order them cause they are quite expensive and couldn't imgine how they look like in real, especially didn't know the painting, but now I'm glad I ordered a pair. Just don't know what to do with the pair of extra heads ?.?.

 Re: New Anraku G Mamaregon
well, i meant as far as popularity goes. Western collectors all seem to hold the bunny as the fin de siecle (sp?) of that type of toy. The goga seems to fit that bill among eastern collectors
