 Cool Zone
I have the clear orange Cool Zone Kid Octopus from S7 and now I want more. Anyone know how many different color-ways have been released so far? Besides the clear orange I've see an orange with brown "vest", a pink, and a green. How hard are the older ones to find? Any other info on Cool Zone and the Kid Octopus would be great. I've become quite smitten with the Kid.

The last one looks cool. I've been looking at this fig from afar--i think the design is very interesting, has character.

 Re: Cool Zone
Thanks plover/slack! i really like the colors on the Brain Joe's especially the gold vest one with the gold spray brain. Just wondering if the Joe's and the Kid Octopus are usually released together in the same color-ways?

In terms of release colours I don't think they're necessarily the same or always released simultaneously.

 Re: Cool Zone
I always thought these were really underrated toys. They do stink like hell though. Not your normal sweet vinyl smell.

Yeah, I went for the first release back when Ramos ran things. Anything with tentacles is usually cool in my book.

I gladly took them off your hands and very much appreciate them! The clear orange ones are awesome, and I got the set for ridiculously dirt cheap. The first thing I noticed about them was the smell. Really quite grotesque, if you don't think vinyl is that toxic, take a wiff of these suckers. They really do make keeping it simple look very good though.

 Re: Cool Zone
HAHAHAHAAAAAA! Sucker! Enjoy your new tumor! Serious though, these guys are worth the stink. Good to know that the odor eventually dissipates. Wonder what the deal is? Maybe the Cool Zone creator thought that making his toys from rancid vinyl would add to their overall wickedness.
