Re: Blaze of new releases continues!
I told myself to stay away from the minis, but I got my first last week. My will power is experiencing structural failure.

I sucked it up and got rid of my mini's for full size RxH fig's..I made up my mind I'm only going to continue to collect the fullsize fig's........It's MADNESS! but I had to draw the line somewhere..I am at peace with myself at the moment, and I hope it continues..

Re: Blaze of new releases continues!
I like to have a diverse collection (and I don't have any money or display space) so my limit is 2 per sculpt. If I get 2 of something and another one comes out that I like better, I will sell or trade one of the two that I like least. It forces tough choices for me it works.

Re: Blaze of new releases continues!
I have started to limit myself as well and have been trying to only buy the first four of each new figure that strikes my fancy unless I simply cannot resist the fifth version... this is mainly for budget reasons, if I was a baller then of course I would buy them all but sadly enough... I'm not...

It forces tough choices for me it works. this would be next to impossible for me with most of the sculpts I love...just can't limit myself...I have dozens of some (not RxH, sorry kids...) and would be bummed to get rid of ANY. but if you can do this more power to you. leaves more money for diversity. still, 2 per sculpt? wow...

Re: Blaze of new releases continues!
I find it hard to fathom collectors who are able to collect that way. Once I own a figure- it's next to impossible for me to part with it. Thus, my permanant lack of trade bait... and cash.

Re: Blaze of new releases continues!
hah, well it's largely a space & money issue for me, and I forgot to mention that the "rule" doesn't apply to everyone...I have four mini chaos and counting...but for anything bigger than that I will try to stick to it.
