 Awesome King Kappar I know Kappa is some sort of bird--any info on this dude King Kappar? Lulubell site says "one of the most amazingly detailed Ultraman monster."

Re: Awesome King Kappar Kappa is the most famous Yokai in Japan, In English it is called "River Child".
The dish on top of it's head is filled with water and is the source of the Kappa's energy... if it is drained the Kappa will weaken.
Kappa are thought to have been invented by parents trying to discourage young children from playing to close to the water...be careful or the Kappa will get you!

He was in episode 19 - "Mystery of the Water-Imp's Mansion" He seems to be part bird (feathers & beak), part ox (horns) and part turtle (shell on his back)....but I guess that is kind of the way of the Ultraman monster, and why I love them so
