There are a few ride armors coming (this list was shamelessly cribbed from Macrossworld):
Toynami: December 2007
Megahouse: February 2008?
Beagle: ????
CM's Corporation: ????
Aoshima: ???? (probably the same as Toynami's)
I'm really not a big ride armor fan so I'll be passing on all of those.

I think I'll be passing on the Aoshima Legioss toys, too. So far they don't look so hot:

Finally! A delivery date and pricing for CM's Legioss/TLEAD combo:
http://www.amiami.com/shop/ProductInfo/product_id/89435
All three color variants are being produced, they start arriving in late February, and will be priced at 29,400 yen (about $257). If interested, I would keep watching HLJ's MOSPEADA listings for early bird pre-orders:

Wow... that thing is sick. Totally brings me back to those days of watching Robotech after school. I picked up a really nice Japanese cyclone toy, fully transformable (kind of like the new ones) in, hmmm, maybe '9o or '91 in NYC's Chinatown, sold it (at a good profit) a few years later, and I totally regret it obviously.

for any that are interested, little review on the Megahouse version of the Cyclone.
Bottom line: better than I expected. a bit more like a model than a transforming toy, but pretty happy once in either mode. recommended for Mospeada fans....

Sorry if this has already been posted (I'm not a huge Robotech fan, so I haven't been following the news on here very closely), but I was just checking out the Revoltech site for the new Fist of the North Star figures and came across something you guys might dig:

I have very fond memories of the big plastic versions of that and the Battroids (I think that's what they were called...looked like crabs and I had a violet one and a dark red one) from when I was a kid.
I never really dug the Valkyrie, the jet-robot look didn't much appeal to me. I was always into the more "monster" looking ones. I think I dug the Regult because it looked like a cooler version of an AT-ST from Star Wars.

 Re: New Robotech (MOSPEADA) toys.
Old thread but did toynami release any other cyclones MOSPEADAs?
I've seen 3 of them (scott bernard, rand, lancer) but didn't know if they did the others.

 Re: New Robotech (MOSPEADA) toys.
Thanks. I always forget to check hobbylink.
I just got one of these (finally) and am really excited. They look great but are a lot smaller than I anticipated. Not a bad thing but wish they were around the 50 range.

 Re: New Robotech (MOSPEADA) toys.
Ah, but those are just the CM's and Megahouse ones. Toynami (in the US) and Beagle (in Japan) are releasing the "Masterpiece Cyclones", which by most accounts kick all ass. I guess they only differ based on the head sculpt (well...and price/availability). I'd take these over the Megahouse or the CM's versions any day.

no question those are nicer. But they are larger and 4-5x more expensive. baller! Sanjeev wrote: Ah, but those are just the CM's and Megahouse ones.
