 Etoya and Minoru
Got a huge shock at MONSTOCK tonight, walked in and had this shoved in our faces, but shoved in a good way for sure. Ok, this thing is just incredible, its doesnt have a name yet but is from a collaboration by Etoya and Minoru. Its a chimera of the Tochuhaso mushroom and a cicada pupae. I love the adult one but the baby is so freaking cute! Both of these sets are just sample colors and I am not sure of a definite release or colorway, these just got done in the last few days. I am hoping beyond hope that these will be easy to get. Enjoy my bad pictures! This Moai Robot from Sugiyama is pretty awesome too! So far a black has been made but more will be coming and with different heads to be created too! This one below was just a sample.

These look like they are sculpted by the same person who sculpted the Parabasu or Pabasu, one of my all time Favorite sculpts.

 Re: Etoya and Minoru
the Moai is pretty cool but those mushroom slugs are awesome. The seems like a really nice size too. Can't wait to see different versions of these guys.

These are pretty cool. Like the mushrooms clinging to the backs and the armor is a nice touch. I'm sort of wishing they had legs though. I know there slugs but I think they would look more toy-like with some articulation and less of the plopped-down-on-the-shelf look.

Agreed, if I got them, I probably wouldn't display them with my other toys, I'd probably use them more as interior decorations put them on the book shelf or something like that.
