 Re: Anraku Ansaku Anime Channel
I was hoping the "New Goga" might be a more refined version of this... Although...Taking another look back at this makes me wonder if this is/was a prototype for a mini. The tail seems to be the only separate piece on the figure(Just like the mini Mamaregon).

 Re: Anraku Ansaku Anime Channel
A new mini Goga would be fantastic. I still like that version and I like what I saw in the animation. Maybe the animation is based on the ORIGINAL sculpt (which is slightly different then the toy that hit.) I have the pic on my home computer but if anyone knows what I'm talking about feel free to post it. It had more of a garage kit feel.

The emphasis of my comment was on the possible technique Anraku utilized to achieve the 3D effect of his animation directed specifically at Ben's thought, ie; "I think it's the actual new Goga toy photographed at different angles." Not the acknowledgment that it was the new proto as you previously stated. Nobody is trying to steal the thunder from your keen powers of observation smart-ass!

 Re: Anraku Ansaku Anime Channel
I don't know, I think the Goga in the video looks like the one that was pictured on the old website. It was mounted on a wooden base. I think it was made by the sculptor for Atelier G1 (like all AA sculpts). It had a more realistic look than the Goga toy.
That's what this reminds me of, but I also have a faint feeling that this clip was also on the old website.
Besides, didn't Anraku post on his Youtube page that he was no longer making toys?

Fingers crossed.
