You know I can totally agree with that. I really do love when i find a kaiju piece and it is just saturated in color.
Something really nice about that, reminds me of childhood toys, and just grabs your eye from the shelf.

I personally think with these sculpts bright colors wouldn't work as well. They are clearly referencing American monsters with these figures. And not the traditional Japanese Kaiju. So it makes sense that they went with these more muted earthy tones. I honestly prefer them to the super vibrant paint apps.

These Ooze-it guys are too cool! I have one of these, and love it.

The body and arms on these guys are actually the same body and arms as the Mars X figure from SHB. Just the head is new, Wombat stuff. This body/arms combo is called the X2 design. The original X body and arms from Mutant, Star and Space X is the X1 design. And the new suited body for Franken X etc. is the X3 design. Engraved on the feet.

Gilligantua = Giant killed by Jack in original Jack the Giant Killer story.

Bemon two head based on Famous Monster of Filmland cover painting of same character. Called Cormoran in the movie. But you all know this, or don't really care.

Sorry, just to make sure I'm not confused, isn't that supposed to be Gargantua?

Kichikai, on page one, referenced the name. That is from Jack the Giant Killer. People on the board made reference that it looks like Sanda and Gaira.

When I first saw this I thought it was from Jack the Giant Killer.

My first thought was "affordable 2-headed Bemon".

Yeah, I also thought it was from Jack the Giant Killer too... and I like it, can't wait to see it in hand.

Just got this guy in and I really happy I splurged for it. Has a lot of nice textures and details. The proportions are good and the paint application is top notch. I'll take some pics of it next to the SHB aliens I have so people can get a sense of scale.

Yeah I feel the same. I love how the different sides have different textures. I wish it was a tad bit bigger, bulkier. But that's just personal taste.

Is anyone else having trouble posting pics from flickr?

I haven't had any trouble posting from flickr. Also thanks for the pic. That figure looks great.

^^^Looks great next to the OG Mutant X!

Can't wait for my "bald" version to arrive. So looking forward to it. Hoping, one day, to find the bearded guy as well.
