Re: Gargamel vs Shady Claims/Resellers/Flippers While there are some exceptions and they can be all over the map, Mandarake's prices are usually less than retail, especially on secondhand items, sometimes quite significantly less. I assume they are probably buying those items for half of what they selling them for, which is pretty standard for professional resellers. This is very different from seeking out items out of speculation that they could be sold for significantly over retail immediately, and doing so.
I have seen stuff flipped I recognize being purchased from Mandarake much more often than I have seen things in their store and thought the prices were inappropriate or it was a flip itself.

There are some deals to be found on Mandarake amongst the commodities bought on speculation to sell at triple retail.

If you sell something through Mandarake do you set the price, or is it based on the items worth?
